What I offer
“George made me feel really comfortable in our sessions. He helped me reflect on what was going on in my life that were affecting me, and created a safe space for me to navigate things myself, just with little prompts from him here and there.”

About Me
Hi, I’m George, an integrative therapist working both online and in-person in Basingstoke. I work with a range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-defeating behaviours and relationship issues (not with couples).
I am open to working with whatever is bringing you to therapy. I qualified with a Level 5 advanced professional diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and Level 5 diploma in counselling young people CPCAB, I am a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS). I offer both long and short term therapy.
We are all unique, each with our own worlds and this is where I believe the work of therapy begins, with how individual we all are. The human experience can be unique to everyone, and whatever happens in our world can be explored. I would be delighted to work alongside you, your emotions and your experience to understand how therapy can help with whatever it is you’re going through.
As an integrative therapist, I’m able to draw on different models and techniques of working, whether that be Psychodynamic, CBT or Person-Centred, the most important person in sessions is you and this approach will be tailored and explored together. I am also able to work with children and young people, which requires different techniques to adults. However, I’m a firm believer than techniques cross over and what we do with young people in sessions is incredibly beneficial to adults, creativity being at the heart of this.
I provide a safe, empathic and non judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, feelings and behaviours.
I welcome any individual, no matter your race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class or disability.
Please feel free to reach out to arrange a free telephone call or pop me an email where I can answer any questions you may have and you can decide whether I might be the right therapist for you.

Got a question?
What do I do if I’m interested?
Pop a email to me or using the booking portal to book an initial phone call, and from there we can explore setting up an initial free 15-minute phone call. Therapy is built on a therapeutic relationship, and that’s really important, so in the 15-minutes we can decide whether it’s something that is the right fit together.
What happens next?
We are all unique. Short term therapy can be 6 weeks or so, whilst longer term psychotherapy may continue for a number of years. It’s important to remember that you are in control and we can explore what feels right together.
How do online sessions work?
Once you schedule an appointment through the secure portal, you’ll receive a private video link at the time of your session with a reminder. Simply click the link at your session time where your session will begin in a confidential.
How much do sessions cost?
Sessions, both online and in-person cost £60 for 50 minutes. The initial 15-minute phone call will be free. Payment should be made preferably 24 hours in advance of sessions, but certainly at the beginning or shortly afterwards.
Fees must be up to date for sessions to continue.
Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours before the session. I reserve the right to charge for a missed session without this prior notice.
